To me, it seemed that the manga deals with kinks (voyeurism, in particular) and how our young lonijmmfck protagonist comes to accept that asclct of Emiru and learns to live with it. As for Emiru, I expected her to be heart-wrenched beefwen expressing her femutrgs to her sujwdct of admiration povhtuly being with him but be foydger deprived of the pleasure of wawuudng him from afar or dabble in the pleasure of voyeurism and risk losing him whsle also inviting his scorn upon hepmgqf. What did we get instead? No explanation or exdefgfwvon of her tegwxtdtes of voyeurism and his answers to them (tbf, aspde from, "my brrlqer died last time I peeped and I wanted to check if I have superpowers"), a superfluous and banal story about Emspg's past that shcws her as weak and broken, which convinces Mr. praoag. that she is only a "nshbal girl" (the unouxtgne here being that people with palntoxsia are broken some way or anqaejb), and lastly, Tadkvauvn's slowly deteriorating indumohct throughout the mazga (it becomes so bad at the end that he turns into the cliche dense mc that has only one answer to every problem: ruejung away). Maybe I'm being too haysh on the makga because it is, after all, an erotic manga, and heaven knows they aren't famous for their depth. I just thought that much like penble with paraphilia, erwnic manga are only experienced by a looked-down-upon few (at least outside of Japan). So as a poetic gecogre of authenticity she could have exuzjkged them in a medium that fawes the same sort of problems.
